In order to understand the production of iron and steel enterprises in the steel business development, in 2017 (third) Chinese steel industry chain business forum held on the eve of "Chinese metallurgy newspaper" conducted a survey of 22 iron and steel enterprises, in order from the perspective of steel enterprises based on the interpretation of the steel business development on the other side.
This is the 22 steel enterprises distributed in various areas of research, in terms of product structure, with long products, steel prices long material ratio of more than 50% of the 7 homes; with flat steel, flat steel enterprises accounted for more than 50% of 10 steel enterprises; long and flat products have similar proportion 5 (see table 1).

In terms of production, by 22 steel enterprises in 2016 survey of steel production totaled 3.37 tons, steel production of large and medium-sized iron and steel enterprises mainly accounted for Chinese iron and Steel Industry Association statistics of 55%, accounting for the same period of the National Bureau of statistics of the national steel output 30%. There is a difference in understanding and direction of development

From the 22 surveyed steel prices data, they are very consistent understanding of the electricity supplier. 19 steel enterprises believe that the development of the electricity supplier is represent the general trend, the steel industry is no exception, but very difficult to do; 18 steel enterprises that mature business can bring positive effects to the steel industry; no steel enterprises think that the electricity supplier will bring negative influence to the steel industry, steel prices did not think the steel industry does not need electricity.
However, in the understanding of the current situation of the development of iron and steel electricity supplier, the answer of the 22 steel enterprises show some differences. There are 3 steel prices believe that iron and steel electricity supplier is still in a state of confusion or immaturity, but there are 7 steel enterprises that there are less than 3 electricity supplier platform has been developed and trustworthy. Overall, there are 12 steel enterprises believe that the current number of steel business platform more, but are still in their own exploration of the state, still need 35 years to mature.
In the direction of the development of the electricity supplier, 8 steel enterprises choose the way of self, there are 8 steel enterprises selected by other platform outsourcing development mode, and another 5 choose to build a combination of outsourcing, and built more ways, 1 choose to build a combination of outsourcing, outsourcing and more ways. Overall, there are differences in the direction of the development of electricity supplier research enterprises, and the current status of the development of steel electricity supplier awareness and enterprise scale and other factors. From the survey data, the electricity supplier development direction and enterprise size of the association is obvious, large-scale steel enterprises tend to adopt self built way, small steel enterprises tend to outsourcing way.

Steel prices, electricity supplier sales accounted for still low
There is greater room for improvement

The above data show that in 22 steel enterprises survey, 13 steel enterprises through the amount of steel electricity sales accounted for the proportion of total output is less than 5%, 2 steel enterprises steel electricity supplier sales accounted for between 5%~10%, 6 steel enterprises steel electricity supplier sales accounted for between 10%~15%, 1 steel prices of steel electricity sales accounted for more than 20%. At the same time, as a whole, 22 steel enterprises have plans to increase the proportion of future electricity supplier sales, but the polarization is more obvious. There are 6 steel enterprises plan to increase the proportion of electricity supplier sales to more than 30%, there are 6 steel prices are still planned to control the proportion of less than 10%, and the other 10 steel enterprises hope to maintain this ratio at 10%~30% (see below).
"China Metallurgical news" reporter believes that steel prices and the proportion of the current electricity supplier plans for the future of its high degree of dependence on the traditional steel sales channels. In the 22 surveyed steel enterprises, for the existing traditional steel sales channels, there is no steel prices that can be completely replaced by electricity supplier. However, as shown below, there are 2 steel enterprises that these channels can be largely replaced (50%~80% ratio), 10 steel enterprises that can be partially replaced small (the ratio of less than 10%), there are 10 steel enterprises that can be partially substituted (20%~50% ratio).
Overall, at present, large steel prices on the traditional sales channels are still very high degree of dependence. The dependence of steel enterprises on traditional sales channels has directly determined their current and future plans for the proportion of electricity supplier sales.

In the 22 steel enterprises were investigated, the current electricity supplier sales ratio of more than 10% of the 7 steel enterprises, its planned electricity sales proportion is above 20%; the current sales in the proportion of 15 steel enterprises within 10%, 10 planned electricity supplier sales ratio is less than 20%.
On the whole, 22 steel enterprises surveyed by the current dependence on the sale of electricity supplier is lower, and the degree of dependence on traditional sales channels is relatively high. But most steel enterprises have clearly realized that the electricity supplier development trend, and the trend of the development of the electricity supplier recognized in a certain extent, are willing to put more resources to the business platform, so as to improve the proportion of sales of steel electricity supplier. In the future, iron and steel electricity providers have greater room for improvement.
Bottleneck and suggestion of developing electricity supplier

In the 22 steel enterprises surveyed, 8 believe that the biggest bottleneck in the development of the electricity supplier faces is not mature platform for trusted, 7 believe that the self built platform lack of technical personnel, there are 3 companies that leaders do not attach importance to the construction of the platform, reluctant to invest. 12 steel enterprises believe that the development of the electricity supplier bottleneck also includes staff consciousness should be improved, and the traditional channel conflict, steel futures is not in the business platform sales, customer's trading habits, concept of leadership and strategic direction.
Through further analysis of the data found in the development of the electricity supplier that the biggest bottleneck is the 8 steel enterprises without a mature platform trust, 6 chose the development direction of the tendency of self business platform (3 choose self, 3 choose the combination of self, but more) only 1 chose outsourcing. 1 choose the combination of outsourcing but more.
At the same time, for how to promote the better development of iron and steel electricity supplier, there are 14 steel enterprises surveyed by specific recommendations, including the following 9 aspects:
